Riding

The Eifel is a paradise for horse lovers: a varying landscape, many meadows and minor traffic provide ideal conditions for horse and rider.

A close co-operation exists between the Eifel-Camp and the riding-stable Lindenhof. The Lindenhof in Nettersheim-Zingsheim, which is located approximately 15 minutes away from the Eifel-Camp by car, offers many possibilities for horse lovers: riding outs through the northern Eifel, covered wagon tours, trained horses and ponies to rent for all demands and riding lessons for groups or single persons. Many games and a lot of fun in terms of horses and horse riding are provided by riding courses taking place in the Easter, summer and autumn holidays. Several riding badges can be made during the Easter holidays.

Covered wagon tours and riding outs, which take place directly at the Eifel-Camp several times per year, are a special service. For 2 hours trained coach drivers drive you through the varying landscape of the Eifel on new, weatherproof and TÜV-proven covered wagons. During the riding outs under expert guidance and on trained horses you will ride through valleys and hills of the northern Eifel.
